Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Serenity Services Inc ("Astronova", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on app.astronova.io, astronova.io and help.astronova.io. It is part of our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information in general.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a similar way. We call all of them "cookies" here.
2. The cookies we use
We use two kinds of cookies.
2.1 Essential cookies — always on
These are needed for the Service to work, so they do not require your consent.

2.2 Analytics cookies — only with your consent
On app.astronova.io we use Yandex Metrica to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how people find us, and where the site needs improving. We use it only after you agree in the cookie banner.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ym_uid, _ym_d |
Yandex | Distinguish visitors and the date of first visit | Up to 1 year |
Other cookies starting with _ym_ |
Yandex | Technical functions of Metrica, such as counting sessions | From the end of your visit to a few days |
Yandex processes this data under its own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
3. Third-party services that may set cookies
Some functions are provided by other companies, which may set their own cookies when you use them:
- Yandex Maps — when you open the map to choose a place;
- Stripe — when you pay for a subscription, on Stripe's payment page.
These cookies are controlled by those companies under their own policies. Our website astronova.io also loads fonts and files from Google Fonts and content delivery networks such as Cloudflare. These services receive your IP address and browser information to deliver the files, but we do not use them to set cookies.
4. Your choices
- Cookie banner. When you first visit app.astronova.io, you choose whether to allow analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings in the site menu. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops from your next page load.
- Browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
5. The iPhone app
The Astronova app for iPhone does not use cookies or analytics. It stores only your sign-in token in the iPhone's secure storage and a few display settings. See section 15 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when the cookies we use change. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
